Hello again! I hope you had a nice day. I don't have too much to say right now. Today was mostly uneventful and I've been quite distracted! Distraction can be fine, and is sometimes important, but should not be indulged in excess, I think. I do not really want to delve into escapism anymore, although I don't think I've valued escapism for a long time now. I'm not really looking to escape reality throug fiction. I am looking to approach it. I am also not trying to find myself in fiction, but rather I am looking to find myself through varied experiences. I think these are important distinctions and I think there comes a point where it's important to reflect on what one is looking for in media. What do you think? I reckon there are many possible answers, none necessarily more or less valid than the other, be it simple entertainment or expression. It's a complicated matter and not stable either! Things evolve over time, as things tend to do. Like layers in the earth.
