A bit of a late update but I swear it's fine. I have simply been busy with work today. As a freelance translator I do not usually find myself swamped with work so having as much as I have now is more blessing than curse. Today, when I went out for groceries, the city was unusually lively, but also mad. There were not just one but two men screaming loudly and incoherently towards anyone who would pass by. It was a surreal experience, probably an expression of our current loneliness and frustration. Expressed badly, to be sure, but expressed I suppose. There was a new moon today, which made the night sky feel oppressive, like the weight of infinity baring down on you.
Here is another haiku. I am keeping this streak going. I hope you enjoy it.
